We are deeply committed to serving the elderly population.
They greatly suffered during Covid, we want to convey the message that they are valued and that kindness matters.
We also recognize that the medical staff and caretakers in the various facilities can use a smile and some recognition for their hard and valuable work. We are here for them too.
We offer onsite group guided visits at the ranch for elderly people and their medical staff.
These usually take place in our spacious beautiful sheltered barn where people can interact with our horses and our resident poodles who are always happy and eager to provide support too. We can also offer the opportunity to sit by the river for a little while and enjoy the incredibly beautiful and serene view. We understand the importance of being in Nature for our own wellbeing.
Our minis & Shetland ponies are trained for offsite visits
They have been visiting nursing homes, memory care centers and rehabilitation centers. They can offer bedside visits and we are always open to special requests.
Flowers for the Elderly
Our New Project
We have been delivering flowers to the elderly and due to its success, we are planning on doing it more in the summer and are growing our own flowers for this purpose (see details on this project under the Learn section ). Our minis have special vests that can carry the flowers and it brought many smiles to both residents and staff.
